I love art in all its forms. I write poetry and short fiction. I once told my brother that I wrote because I couldn't draw or paint. I am also an avid amateur photographer. My dream is to one day be able to support my family with one or both of these endeavors. <br><br>I am the mother of two teenagers who have just this fall surpassed me in height by 2 - 3 inches each! It's hard looking up at your children all of a sudden like this.

An opportunity to learn more about writing and photography and to make good friends doing it. I hope to grow both as a writer and photographer through the experience and feedback that I receive here.

I hope you are having a blessed day and all is well with you and your friends and family! I have been blessed to be surrounded by so many wonderful people! It warms my heart, and brightens my day, even when I am unable to stop and tell you about it!! I wanted to tell you that I have missed Gather and I haven't been able to comment much lately due to a big research paper with school, and not feeling good. I hope to be back to full soon.
I am so like you regarding “change”, Tracey. I’m still longing for the return of the little green people who would be at the upper right side of our namespace page to let you know you had a connection invite.
I shudder when I see there’s going to be an update; however, I was shocked at myself when I wasn't disappointed over the change in the new group home pages. Most of the other changes Gather has made have been rather disappointing, and in some cases, unnecessary, e.g., "who pinged who" - "our activities at our profile page", etc.
I’m wondering if this particular type of formatting (with regard to the new group home page) has to do with emulating some of the other online community sites.
I don’t have an answer for your question about “sharing with a single group”--I don’t know either, but if I find out, I will get back with you.
